Quarry Walk Adds New Food Option

OXFORD, CT — A new cafe has opened at Quarry Walk, adding another food option to the town’s growing mixed-use development.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is now open at 354 Center Rock Green, Unit N-108, according to the company’s official location page and a post from Oxford First Selectman George R. Temple.

“Congratulations to Tropical Smoothie Cafe on their grand opening in Quarry Walk,” Temple said in the post.

Temple encouraged residents to stop by and said the business is another example of investment in the community.

“It’s great to see another business investing in our community and creating new opportunities right here in town,” Temple said.

The cafe serves smoothies, bowls, wraps, flatbreads, salads, sandwiches and quesadillas, according to Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

The Oxford location offers online ordering, pickup and curbside service, according to the company’s location page. The location does not have a drive-thru.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe lists the Oxford store’s phone number as 475-224-4420.

The new cafe joins a Quarry Walk dining lineup that includes Char & Lemon, Country Creamery, Five Guys, Haven Hot Chicken, Jersey Mike’s, Market 32, Maru 67, Mini Munch Sliders, Quarry Coffee Co., Ramen & Bao, Sitting Duck Tavern and Starbucks, according to the Quarry Walk directory.

Quarry Walk describes itself as a walkable Oxford destination with shopping, dining, apartments, medical offices and events.
