'Untimely Death' Investigated in Oxford: BREAKING

A body was found at a park, State Police said.

OXFORD, CT — Connecticut State Police say they are investigating an untimely death that occurred in Oxford at the Naugatuck State Forest near Old Litchfield Turnpike. At 3:15 p.m. Troop A in Southbury and the Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime and state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection responded to the park for an "untimely death."

State Police said the death appears not to be criminal in nature and there is no threat to the public.
