1. The Oxford Board of Education voted last week to form a search committee to hire an interim schools superintendent. The board decided to appoint the full board as the search committee. At the Sept. 8 Board of Education meeting members will discuss "possible action on acceptance of Dr. (Jason) McKinnon's resignation as Superintendent of Schools" and "discussion/possible action on terms of Dr. McKinnon's departure from the district." The meeting begins at 6 p.m. Learn how to participate on Zoom by clicking here. The Easton, Redding, and Region 9 Boards of Education recently named McKinnon as their next superintendent of schools.
