Oxford High School Rocks Tagged With BLM Slogans

A photo of the BLM-tagged rocks was posted on the Oxford High School Wolverines' Facebook page.

OXFORD, CT — Rocks outside of Oxford High School have been spray painted with the slogans "BLM" and "I can’t breathe."

A photo of the rocks was posted to the OHS Wolverines' Facebook page.

BLM stands for the Black Lives Matters movement "to fight for freedom, liberation and justice" which has been speaking out against the death of George Floyd while in the custody of Minneapolis police. "I can't breathe" refers to words spoken by Floyd while in a choke hold by the police.

Four Minneapolis police officers have been fired and charged in connection with Floyd's death on May 25.
