Waiting Is The Hardest Part For the New Oxford Library
Library staff say they are asked a lot when the new library will be open to the public.

OXFORD, CT — Town residents are anxiously awaiting the use of their new $3.5 million Oxford Public Library on Great Oak Road but it appears they will have to wait a bit longer.
Library officials told the Republican-American that the remaining work will continue into July. Some electrical work is occurring now, followed by setting up all of the new furniture.
The library, for now, will continue to operate in the basement of Town Hall.
