Waterbury Chamber to Host Waterbury Mayoral Debate & Luncheon Oct. 15

Luncheon and debate between four candidates to be held from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Waterbury, 63 Grand St.

The Waterbury Regional Chamber will host its 2015 Waterbury Mayoral Debate & Luncheon on Wednesday, October 14, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Waterbury, at 63 Grand St. All four candidates on this year’s ballot will participate in the event: incumbent Mayor Neil O’Leary (D), Jose Morales (R), Alderman Lawrence De Pillo (I) and petitioning candidate Jimmie Griffin.

The debate will be moderated by David Krechevsky, the Chamber’s director of public policy and economic development.

The Waterbury Regional Chamber (www.waterburychamber.com) represents more than 1,100 businesses in Greater Waterbury, serving the communities of Beacon Falls, Bethlehem, Cheshire, Middlebury, Naugatuck, Oakville, Oxford, Prospect, Southbury, Thomaston, Waterbury, Watertown, Wolcott, and Woodbury. It is one of the largest Chambers in the state of Connecticut.

Fees for the October 14 luncheon are $35/Waterbury Regional Chamber members, $50 for non-members, and $400 for a table of 10, which includes priority seating and company signage.
