The National Weather Service is predicting it’s possible that we could receive more than eight inches of snow during a potential four day snow event.
It’s possible that it could snow to some extent beginning late Saturday and into Tuesday, according to the weather’s service Hazardous Weather Outlook statement.

“Really, really challenging forecast for Sunday and Monday. Several chances for snow but I wouldn’t be surprised if the bulk of it held off until Monday. At this point all we can really say is “stay tuned” - we should know much more tomorrow,” said Ryan Hanrahan, who is a NBC Connecticut meteorologist. Hanrahan wrote his comments on social media.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a 60-70 percent chance of snow on Sunday with snow accumulating between 2-4 inches. There is also a 60-70 percent chance of snow on Monday and Monday night, and by Tuesday the snow chance drops to 40 percent.
