Woman Arrested for Falsely Reporting Assault
Waterbury woman charged after telling police she was injured in assault.

A Waterbury woman was arrested in Oxford for falsely reporting an assault incident, police stated in a news release.
Kindra Lee Jamele, 38, of 22 Middlesex Road, was charged with second-degree false statement and falsely reporting an incident, the release states.
Jamele originally reported the incident in October to Middlebury police after stating the incident began in that town, before police there realized the alleged incident actually occurred in Oxford, police said. Police said they realized that something in Jamele's story was not adding up.
