Youth Baseball Tryouts in Oxford This Weekend

Oxford Babe Ruth Cal Ripken tryouts for the 2013 year will be held this weekend. The tryouts are mandatory for players aged 9-12 who are not in the majors. All children will be placed on a team. Tryouts are for team placement purposes.

Tryouts will be held on Sunday, March 3, or Sunday, March 10, at the Oxford High School gymansium. Boys ages 9-10 will try out between noon and 1:15 p.m. Boys ages 11-12 will try out between 1:15 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Players are asked to bring their bat, glove and to wear sneakers. 

Times are important so players are urged to be on time. Children must be registered for the 2013 season in order to try out. They can register on Sunday.
