Y.P.O.W.R. Young Professionals First Annual Mini Golf Tourney Seeks Sponsors & Raffle Prizes

Waterbury Regional Chamber's Young Professionals of Waterbury Region will host first annual mini golf tournament Sept. 16 in Southington

If your business is looking for a way to reach young professionals, then tee up a sponsorship or donate a prize to the first Mini Golf Tournament sponsored by Y.P.O.W.R. — the Waterbury Regional Chamber’s Young Professionals of Waterbury Region.

Courtney Ligi, Y.P.O.W.R Program Director and the Chamber’s special events director, commented, “This tournament was created for colleagues to have a relaxing and fun activity together while meeting other young professionals in the Waterbury region. We would like this to become a much-anticipated Y.P.O.W.R. event in the coming years.”

The tournament will be held Wednesday, September 16, at the beautiful Hidden Valley Miniature Golf course at 2060 West Street in Southington. Ligi commented, “It was created to encourage companies to help their employee’s blast out of the daily routine with an afternoon of team building.” Registration opens at 4:45 p.m. followed by a shotgun start for 18 holes of mini golf at 5:00 p.m. The tournament will be followed at 6:15 p.m. by a networking reception at the DoubleTree by Hilton at 42 Century Drive in Bristol. During the reception, winners of the tournament’s great prizes will be announced, including for “Best Golf Outfit” and “Most Holes in One,” and a raffle will be held.
