19th Annual Monroe Police Kid's Fishing Derby​ Set To Cast In May

MONROE, CT — The 19th Annual Monroe Police Kid’s Fishing Derby will be held Saturday, May 13 at Great Hollow Lake in Wolfe Park, 454 Purdy Hill Road, from 6-9 a.m.

The annual event, open to children ages 3-15 years old.

The largest fish of any kind by weight in five different age groups (5 and under, ages 6 and 7, ages 8 and 9, ages 10 and 11, and ages 12-15) will win a prize, one prize per person.

No reservations are necessary.

The event will be held rain or shine.
