19th Annual Ridgefield Holiday Stroll This Weekend
It is one of the town's most well-known and best-loved traditions.

RIDGEFIELD, CT —The 19th annual Ridgefield Holiday Stroll will kick off on Friday night and continue all day Saturday.
Strollers can begin strolling in the business district at 6 p.m. on Nov. 30. Alternately, they can ride in horse-drawn carriages, which will be available to carry revelers down Main Street from the Ridgefield Library to the Lounsbury House. At Lounsbury House they can participate in a post crads for the troops event, hosted by the Ridgefield Lions Club.
Along Main Street will be carolers, alomg with ice sculptors on the green outside Prime Burger. Magician Tom Pesce will performer feats of legerdemain and illusion in town hall.
The festivities will conclude at 10 p.m. on Friday but pick up again at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1. Real life toy soldiers will be singing and marching, and there will be a jewelry-making workshop in the SPHERE storefront on Main Street. Strollers may begin their morning breakfasting with Santa at the Boys & Girls Club (8 a.m. to noon, $8 per adult, $6 per child, maximum $30 max per family; tickets are available online or by calling 203-438-8821). The stroll officially concludes 7 p.m. Saturday.
