All New Hello Ridgefield Website Launches
From the team behind the Hello Ridgefield Facebook Group, comes a new website aimed at #localhelpinglocal

Ridgefield, CT - The team behind the popular “Hello Ridgefield!” Facebook group has created and launched an innovative new website: www.helloridgefield.com. Called the Hello Ridgefield Community & Business Guide, or just the Hello Ridgefield Guide, for short; it was created with the hashtag #localhelpinglocal in mind. The aim is for it to be the go-to website for Ridgefield information, and also an inexpensive avenue for local businesses to connect with their community.
The idea for the Hello Ridgefield Guide was sparked by the hundreds of posts the Hello Ridgefield! Facebook group receives from members looking for town-wide information. The group's administrators decided to create a stand-alone website, for everyone, even those who aren’t on social media, to have the same access to information (and fun) that members of the Facebook group have. While keeping with the same light-hearted, fun,"be kind to your neighbors" tone that defines the Facebook group.
ABOUT THE WEBSITE:
Its design is sleek, modern, and user-friendly. Website sections include an “About Ridgefield” page that highlights everything Ridgefield has to offer; this section is a valuable resource for new-to-town residents, and also out-of-towners visiting Ridgefield. It's also a spot realtors can "bookmark" and share with their clients who may be looking to move into town.
Another section of the website is the “Calendar” page. It is a complete listing of everything to do in Ridgefield and the surrounding towns. The Hello Ridgefield team is working around-the-clock updating the calendar with local happenings and events. The page includes featured events, as well as kids' activities, business special events, town info, school events, theater & art shows, fun national days of the year, and more. Submitting an event on this page is free to the public.
The “Categories” section of the Hello Ridgefield Guide is dedicated to helping businesses and community members connect. Visitors to the website can look up any type of business to discover information about that business. Categories include: Health & Fitness, Eat Drink & Entertainment, Kids, Pets, Business to Business, Non-Profits, Real Estate, and more. *
The Hello Ridgefield team also announced that the website has a “Coupon & Promo Bulletin Board” page, which they hope will rival Groupon. Local business can feature their best deals, promotions and coupons there.
ABOUT HELLO RIDGEFIELD:
Hello Ridgefield! is run by local residents, Tonya Hinojosa and Cindie Hansen Lishawa. The two joined forces after discovering their shared love for the town of Ridgefield, and a mutual desire to help see businesses in Ridgefield thrive. Jennifer Fixler joined the pair last year as a social media manager; and long-time Ridgefielder, Jennifer Griek recently joined the fun as Hello Ridgefield’s Calendar Guru!
