RIDGEFIELD, CT — A pair of infrastructure projects near Ridgebury Road are expected to begin in the coming weeks, according to town officials.
Ridgefield officials said paving work along Ridgebury Road is anticipated to begin around June 1, weather permitting.
The project is part of a multi-year effort to address drainage issues and improve road conditions along the corridor, officials said.
Meanwhile, construction on a water main extension connecting Craigmoor Road to the Ridgefield High School and Scotts Ridge Middle School campus is expected to begin in mid-June.
According to the town, the project expands on water infrastructure work completed by Aquarion in 2024, including a pressure-reducing facility near Barlow Mountain Road and North Street and a water main connection between Ridgefield and Craigmoor water systems.
Officials said the new phase will extend public water service to the high school and middle school campus.
