RIDGEFIELD, CT — A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold to a Ridgefield resident Monday, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The anonymous resident took their prize home from Old Greenwich Service Station, located at 1429 E Putnam Ave in Old Greenwich.
The odds of claming a $50K ducat are just 1 in 913,129.18, according to the gamemeisters. Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Powerball jackpot winners may choose to receive their prize as an annuity, paid in 30 graduated payments over 29 years, or a lump-sum payment.
The ticket costs just $2.
