TIMELINE: New Pickleball Courts Coming To Ridgefield Recreation Center Campus

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Four new pickleball courts are planned for the Ridgefield Recreation Center campus, according to the town.

The project also includes a dedicated parking area and a seating area, Ridgefield Parks and Recreation said.

Construction is scheduled to begin Aug. 24 with site preparation and demolition, which is expected to continue through Sept. 11. Site work and court preparation are scheduled for Sept. 14 to Oct. 9.

Fencing, paving and site restoration are scheduled for Oct. 12 to Oct. 23. Court surfacing and final work are scheduled for Oct. 23 to Oct. 30.

The town said the schedule is tentative and could change because of weather, site conditions or other delays.
