Author and actress Lisa Oz will address Ladies Who Launch at their next networking meeting on June 14 at Saks Fifth Avenue, Greenwich. Lisa will discuss her latest book US: Transforming Ourselves and the Relationships That Matter Most.
Ms. Oz is a writer, actress, producer and frequent co-host of the Dr. Oz Show on Oprah & Friends XM radio telecast. She has co-authored three New York Times best selling books, including YOU: The Owner’s Manual series. She is President of Ozworks, LLC, a media and investment consulting company that she founded, and directs Pine Room Pictures, a production company specializing in family friendly media. Lisa is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College where she was captain of the tennis team. She attended Columbia University’s Union Theological Seminary and has written on and maintains a passion for spiritual studies. Lisa resides in New Jersey with her husband of 22 years and their 4 children.
The event will take place at Saks Fifth Avenue, 205 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich and will be sponsored by Serendipity magazine. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Norwalk Hospital’s Circle of Caring. Tickets are $35 for Ladies Who Launch members and $50 for others. A committed community leader, she serves on the Boards of Directors of the Bank of New Canaan and of the Norwalk Hospital Foundation. She is also co-chair of Norwalk Hospital’s Circle of Caring. Additionally, she created the non-profit “Exceptional Woman Series,” a program to recognize women leaders in Fairfield County. She founded Kendrew Group, Ltd. an award-winning marketing and brand development agency that launched major campaigns for Visa, MasterCard, JP Morgan Chase and HBO, among many others. She is an adjunct professor at New York University.
