ARTique 2014 Comes to St. Stephen's in Ridgefield
ARTique 2014, an art boutique for the holidays, will be at St. Stephen's Church from Nov. 20-22.

ARTique 2014, a high-end art/craft show and sale returns to St. Stephen’s Church North Hall, 351 Main Street in Ridgefield. All are invited to the artists’ reception on opening night, Thursday, Nov. 20, from 6:30 to 8:30. The show and sale continue Nov. 21-22, from 10-5. There is no admission fee.
ARTique features the work of 9 members of Connecticut Clay Artists (CCA) and 12 guest artists who work in different media and whose work has been juried into the show.
CCA members will be showing pottery of all styles, including wheel thrown, slab built, sculpture, functional and decorative ware. Guest artist Martha Talburt (pictured), a well-known Connecticut portrait artist, will do graphite portrait sittings by appointment – on the spot. Other guest artists’ wares include fashion-statement jewelry, woodworking, fine wearables from hand-dyed silk and hand-dyed wools, lawn and tabletop sculpture, framed fiber art and oil paintings.
