Back To School: Ridgefield 2023-24 School Calendar
Parents in Ridgefield can mark the first day of school coming later this summer.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Ridgefield, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Ridgefield Public School District.
The first day of school for most kindergarten through 9th grade students in Ridgefield is Aug. 28. Students in grades 10-12 are due back on Aug. 29.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

First Day, 10-12: Aug. 29
Thanksgiving Recess: Nov. 23-24
Winter Recess: Dec. 25-Jan. 1 (early dismissal Dec. 22)
February Recess: Feb. 19-23
Spring Recess: April 15-19
Tentative Last Day: June 11
