Boy Scouts Picking Up and Recycling Christmas Trees!

After Christmas, what’s the easiest way to recycle your tree? Have the Boy Scouts take it away for you! Ridgefield Boy Scout Troop 116 can pick up a Christmas tree at your house or business anywhere in Ridgefield, or up to two miles beyond the town line. Trees must be left for pickup at the end of your driveway by 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9th. There is a suggested donation of $17, which helps support the troop’s numerous service projects in town, as well as backpacking adventures for the boys.
