Bucci Named Principal of Balanced Growth Advisors

Paul Bucci of Ridgefield, Conn., has been named a principal of Balanced Growth Advisors, 39 Salisbury St., Worcester, Mass.

Bucci, who co-founded the firm, will assist in managing the firm’s operations, in addition to managing investments. The firm’s investment approach is to balance growth, income and capital preservation by investing primarily in convertible bonds and convertible preferred securities.

Bucci previously served as managing director and portfolio manager at Cutler Capital Management, Worcester. He had more than 15 years of experience managing hedged and outright institutional portfolios for a subsidiary of Franklin Templeton Investments, New York, N.Y., and successor company TQA Investors, LLC. He gained additional asset management experience as an analyst and trader at the Harvard Management Company, Boston.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Middlebury (Vt.) College and his MBA from Northeastern University, Boston.
