William Francis “Bill” Somers, 83, died March 26, a U.S. Air Force veteran and information technology professional who rose to director of information services, later ran a computer consulting business, and enjoyed fishing on Long Island Sound as captain of his charter boat, softball, and church volunteering.

Albert Corbin “Ace” Emmens, 83, died March 24, a chemical engineer with Union Carbide until 2001 who spent his free time stargazing with a telescope, listening to jazz, watching classic films, golfing, solving the New York Times crossword, traveling widely, and enjoying life with his dogs.

Gaetano Bucciero, 91, died March 18, a construction foreman and skilled tradesman who spent decades working in New York, later focusing on home renovation projects for family, and enjoying gardening, lawn care, sudoku, Scopa, espresso with biscotti, baseball, and annual tomato sauce making.

Phyllis Anne (Rockovitz) Perron, 85, died March 5, 2026, a retired bank teller who worked for many years at Wells Fargo and spent her time volunteering at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, swimming laps, knitting, doing needlework, gardening, cross-country skiing, walking, and reading.
