C.J. Chenier to Perform at CHIRP in Ridgefield
Billboard magazine called him the "heir to the Zydeco throne."
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Concert Happenings in Ridgefield Parks (CHIRP) is welcoming C.J. Chenier & the Red Hot Louisiana Band to Ballard Park on Thursday, Aug. 30th at 7 p.m.
Called the “heir to the Zydeco throne” by Billboard Magazine, C.J. Chenier is back by huge popular demand for his 9th consecutive year at CHIRP.
In the event of rain, the concert will be held at East Ridge Middle School.
CHIRP is a series of free Tuesday and Thursday night summer concerts in Ballard Park located in the heart of Ridgefield. It also sponsors the U.S. Military Band concerts held several times a year at the high school auditorium. CHIRP is totally funded by individual and foundation donations as well as contributions from local businesses.
