The Ridgefield Commission on Aging is pleased to invite local seniors to the Senior Voices presentation on Tuesday, May 12th from 1:00-2:30 PM at the Ridgefield Library. This month the talk will be presented by Jill Maguire, Sr. Branch Manager of Union Savings Bank in Ridgefield. Union Savings Bank has been a local Community Bank since 1866.

Jill will provide an overview of the latest scams and how you can protect yourself. Her presentation will include helpful tips on how to use the services of your local bank for an added layer of protection. Topics discussed will cover imposter scams, tech support scams and romance scams. Come and share your story or learn how to avoid these difficult situations.

This program is open to the public and is especially valuable for older adults, caregivers, and family members who need to stay one step ahead of these kinds of attacks.

Senior Voices is a free event and hybrid program. Individuals may attend in person or register via Zoom through the library. Participants are invited to enjoy light refreshments and conversation following the program.
