CANDIDATES FORUM
Wednesday, September 30, 6:30 pm, Ridgefield Library
Co-Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Ridgefield and the Ridgefield Library
Qualified candidates whose names will appear on the ballot and are running in a contested race for the 24th and 26th Senate Districts and the 111th House District have been invited to participate in the Forum. Those who accept the invitation will answer questions and share their views on important topics with voters.
Members of the public who attend the Forum may submit questions on League-provided index cards on the day of the Forum between 5:45 and 6:10 PM. Questions submitted must be brief, of general interest to the audience, directed to the candidates for their race and cannot be about personal matters. Questions will be included at the discretion of the Forum Moderator who decides which questions will be asked.

The Forum will be taped by the Library. No other taping or live streaming will be allowed. All political advertising is prohibited in the Library building and grounds including the parking lot. Use of electronic devices/digital devices by the candidates and members of the audience are prohibited. All participants are expected to conduct themselves with dignity and treat all those present with respect, empathy and civility.
