Caporale, O'Leary, Serfilippi: Recent Death Notices From Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Recent death notices from Ridgefield.
Paul William O'Leary, 42, died Aug. 30, 2026. A graduate of Ridgefield High School and Loyola College in Baltimore, he worked in commodities brokerage in Manhattan for 13 years, most recently at Liquidity Energy. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen (Connor) O'Leary, a brother and a sister.
Vera (Subrizi) Caporale, 97, died Aug. 25, 2026. She began her career at Macy's in New York before working as a seamstress and later in banking for Mechanics and Farmers. She was an honorary member of the Ridgefield Rotary Club. She is survived by three children and two grandchildren.
Natalie (Bocchini) Serfilippi, 92, died Aug. 25, 2026. A lifelong Ridgefield resident, she worked as a preschool teacher for 35 years at Creative Children's Korner. She is survived by three children and seven grandchildren.
Charles R. "Charley" Popp, 74, died Aug. 24, 2026. A graduate of the University of New Haven, he spent 37 years as a master packaging mechanic at Clairol Hair Products before working eight years at Schick, retiring in 2014. With his wife, he built and ran Hidden Bridge Farm, a horse training and boarding facility in Ridgefield. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol.
Linda M. Rose, 76, died Aug. 22, 2026. A 1968 graduate of Ridgefield High School, she spent more than 30 years as a flight attendant with Delta Air Lines. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Rose, and a brother.
