Career counselor Eliza Shanley will offer a workshop at St. Stephen's Church on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., for women who are considering returning to work or making a career transition. Shanley, a Ridgefield resident, is a founder and managing partner of Women@Work Network, a networking organization and search firm that helps current and returning professional women find full-time or part-time work that fits their current life stage.
Through self-examination, brainstorming, and sharing ideas with other women exploring similar issues, the workshop will provide guidance, support, and practical strategies for setting and achieving goals.
The workshop is being underwritten by St. Stephen's Church's Mary Brewster Fund, which was established in memory of parishioner Ursula Mary Brewster for the spiritual and personal growth of women. There will be no charge for the program, but donations at the door will be welcomed.
St. Stephen's Church is located at 351 Main Street, Ridgefield; the workshop will take place in North Hall. Please register in advance by e-mailing Sue McKnight (susandmcknight@gmail.com) by Thursday, September 19th. For information or to register by phone, please contact her at 203-431-1489.
