Come Home for the Holidays

The holiday season is all about traditions. In today’s fast-paced, ever-changing world, wouldn’t it be wonderful to experience a holiday like days of yore, with smiling faces, holiday good cheer and rousing seasonal music?

This December, you can! Come home for the holidays to Ridgefield, for the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra’s musical tradition, their Holiday Celebration, on Saturday, December 5th, 8:00 pm, at Ridgefield High School’s Anne S. Richardson Auditorium.

The program includes your favorites- Sleigh Ride, White Christmas, O Holy Night and many more- as they can only sound when performed by a first-class professional orchestra under the direction of an internationally acclaimed conductor, Music Director Jerry Steichen. Twas the Night Before Christmas and who is stirring? Ridgefield’s own Emmy award winner, poet, and all around Renaissance man Ira Joe Fisher, who will narrate this holiday classic. And as a special treat, multi-talented mezzo-soprano Jessica Medoff joins the RSO in selections from Handel’s Messiah as well as in traditional carols freshly arranged by Maestro Jerry especially for this performance. Bask in the good cheer, holiday spirit and great music!
