Every Sunday in March, at 11:30 am, St. Stephen's Episcopal Church - located at 351 Main Street, Ridgefield, will offer a community dinner in our North Hall, that will benefit a particular organization—an organization that we’ve worked with in some way over our years. On March 1st the focus will be on Housatonic Habitat for Humanity.
"Homeownership is more than the homes we build. Homeownership provides financial benefits that impacts and contributes to the quality of life in greater Danbury. Throughout the region affordable housing attracts families and individuals, who will locate, work in, invest in and contribute to the economic and civic life of our communities. Habitat has a solution to stimulate this economic vitality: Give people a chance to live in simple, decent homes they can afford – and sustain. We provide affordable homes built by volunteers with materials gifted by local businesses. We provide an interest-free mortgage for those working families who qualify. We thank our many partners who help in our mission. Working together we’ve gone beyond the hammer.”
These meals are “donation only” and the donations will go to the featured organization of the day. Bring your family and/or your friends for this time of fellowship. Everybody’s welcome!
