Coronavirus Ridgefield: Number Of Confirmed Cases Balloons to 34
Gov. Ned Lamont announced that the state had more than 200 new confirmed coronavirus cases since Monday.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Health Director Ed Briggs confirmed that there are 34 residents who have tested positive for the new coronavirus.
Seventeen of these cases are "associated with" Benchmark Senior Living at Ridgefield Crossings on Route 7, according to Briggs. The two elderly Ridgefield men who died from the disease had been residents at the facility, which is now on lockdown to all visitors.
Gov. Ned Lamont announced that the state had more than 200 new confirmed coronavirus cases since Monday. The state's total case count is 618 with 71 hospitalizations and 12 deaths.
The governor closed all non-essential businesses have been closed as of 8 p.m. Monday night. Here is a complete list of essential businesses.

Live streams with updates from the Town's Office of Emergency Management are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 4 p.m. on the town website and on Comcast channel 24.
