Danbury's Irish Gear Up for Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade

The 18th Annual Danbury St. Patrick's Day Parade is slated for Sunday, March 19 and includes Irish dancers, Irish pipe & drum bands & more.

DANBURY, CT — The 18th Annual Danbury St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held on Sunday, March 19th in downtown Danbury. The parade steps off from St. Peter Church on Main Street at 2:30 p.m. Bands, floats and marchers will make their way down Main St., up West Street, on to Lake Ave. and end at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center (GDICC) at 6 Lake Ave. The GDICC will serve corned beef sandwiches, shepherd's pie and beverages. Admission to the Cultural Center after-parade event is free and live music and Irish step dancing will be included at the post parade party.
