Downed Tree Causes Train Delays on Danbury Branch: MTA
Metro North officials issued substitute bus service to make up for the delays.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — A downed tree in the vicinity of the Branchville train station caused delays on the Danbury branch Monday afternoon.
The Metro-North Railroad twitter account said that trains were delayed between 20 to 30 minutes. Substitute bus service was provided on the Danbury branch for the 1:27 p.m. train from Danbury to South Norwalk and the 1:33 p.m. train from Wilton to Danbury.
The Metro-North Twitter account indicated that on time train service resumed on the Danbury branch beginning with the 1:27 p.m. train from Danbury to South Norwalk, and the 2:23 p.m. departure from South Norwalk to Danbury
