Art Daze I: Lights, Camera, ACTION!

ghts, Camera, ACTION! Become a producer, set designer, and actor at Art Daze with artist Kimberly Kay. In just four hours, children aged four to six years old with use cardboard and a green screen to create a piece of cinematic genius! Families and friends are then invited to a VIP premiere screening of the movie on August 2 at 11 am.

Art Daze I morning programs at The Aldrich allow children aged four to six years old to work with artists to experience the groundbreaking directions of today’s contemporary art. Participants in the two-day sessions unleash their creative talents to design, build, learn new concepts, experiment with materials, and have fun with their peers in a museum setting.

About the artist: Kimberly Kay is an artist and curator who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. A recent graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, she creates objects, projects, and art events that straddle the worlds of performance, painting, and interior design.
