Please join Books on the Common and the Ridgefield Library in welcoming Peter Steiner, accomplished New Yorker cartoonist-turned novelist, on the occasion of the publication of his fourth novel - The Resistance. Set in German-occupied France, it is a novel about "the difficulties of living a decent and upright life when the law of the land is immoral and it is dangerous to live according to a normal sense of what is right or wrong".
