
Enjoy an afternoon of beautiful music as Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church presents a performance of Robert Schumann's "Piano Quartet in E flat major, Op. 47" on Sun., Sept. 30 at 4 p.m.
Featured performer will be Lucia Negro, one of Sweden's most acclaimed pianists. (www.lucianegro.com/eng1.htm) She is a member of the Royal Academy of Music and has made more than 20 recordings.
Other performers will include violinists Gunnar Palm and Nina Crothers, violist Suzanne Corey-Sahlin, cellist Gunnar Sahlin and solo vocalist Robin Ideström
Henric Ideström , Jesse Lee's music minister, will conduct.
The "Op. 47" quartet was written in 1842 and is one of the most popular piano quartets in the standard repertoire.
