Easter Services at St. Stephen's Episcopal

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church will hold three services on Easter Sunday, April 8: a quiet Holy Eucharist at 7:30 A.M. and two Festival Eucharists, at 10 A.M. and noon.  The Festival Eucharists will include a brass quartet, timpani, the St. Stephen’s Choir and organist Virginia Leeman. The brass will provide the prelude music and, with the organ and timpanist, will accompany the Easter hymns. Other music will include “I know that my redeemer liveth,” from Handel’s Messiah, sung by soprano Lydia Toperzer. At the conclusion of both Festival Eucharists, the entire congregation will join the musicians, under the  direction of Music Minister Scott Toperzer, in singing Handel’s “Hallelujah,” also from Messiah.
