Love to Write!

Taught by noted Ridgefield teacher and award-winning writer Barb Jennes, this immersive creative writing workshop is specially designed for passionate young writers in grades 7-12.

In an atmosphere of kind, constructive criticism and plenty of fun, we'll experiment in a variety of genres, from personal non-fiction to slam poetry. We'll take short, inspirational field trips to nearby "write sites" such as the Aldrich Museum. We'll even combine writing with our own art and photos. Students will end the week with renewed creative confidence and energized ideas. Plus, they'll gain plenty of new friends who love to write, too!

All sessions are held in the annex building of the Jesse Lee Memorial Church on Main Street in Ridgefield.

Cost: $275. (Students should pack a lunch.)

To register, please email Barb Jennes at bjenneson@aol.com or call (203)894-1079. More information ahd on-line registration is available at www.study-works.com.
