SUMMER CAMP at Ridgefield Guild of Artists - July 16 - July 20. Spaces still available!
JEWELRY DESIGN with Lessley Burke. This jewelry class is NOT about stringing beads. The kids will start out working with pipe cleaners and quickly move on to using copper and brass wire to create bracelets and earrings. They will be taught how to weave a chain with copper wire and perhaps do simple solder joins. This class will inspire the budding jewelry designer.
PHOTOGRAPHY with Roy Weinstein and Ken Kast. This session will be a hands on learning experience to give your child the skills and confidence to take amazing photographs. Program includes basic camera operation, fashion/portrait photography, close-ups, lighting techniques and much more. The students will be using each others as models to enhance their experience. Digital camera needed - 35mm DSLR or point and shoot.
SCULPTURE with Justin Perlman, RGA's artist in residence. Students will be introduced to sculpture using different materials - wire, wood, plaster, etc., to explore their creativity in spatial concepts. Prepare to get your clothing dirty!
