Ridgefield Historical Society’s 2011 House Tour Set for Saturday, May 21st
A selection of Ridgefield’s notable historic addresses will be open to the public to provide a rare glimpse into the history and architecture of Connecticut’s #1 Town. The Tour, featuring homes within walking distance of Ridgefield’s Main Street will be open from 10 am until 4pm. For those who purchased the ‘Toast the Tour’ tickets , a cocktail reception will be held at a former Publishing Magnate’s summer home within the historic village.
Proceeds from the tour support the work of the Ridgefield Historic Society in preservation, interpretation and fostering knowledge of Ridgefield’s heritage. Tour Tickets cost $30 each; ‘Toast the Tour’ Tickets (include entry to the tour and cocktail reception) $75 each. Tickets sales begin the week of May 2nd at Bella Home, Squash’s Ridgefield Office Supply, Neumann Real Estate and The Ridgefield Historical Society (cash or check only).
