The Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra will conclude the celebration of their 10th season with the annual Garden Party concert and fundraiser on Sunday, June 3rd at 2 p.m., at Bernard’s in Ridgefield.
The Garden Party includes special performances by the WCYO Symphony Orchestra, String Ensemble and Wind Ensemble, and a closing performance including WCYO alumni. Musical selections include Capriccio Espagnole by Rimsky-Korsakov and Hoe Down by Aaron Copland, as well as classical selections by Rossini, Tchaikovsky and lively concert band selections by Robert Smith and Karl King. A lovely champagne reception, live and silent auctions take place between performances. This is always a fantastic day of music and fun to which all are invited.
