Exchange Club of Ridgefield Pickleball Tournament Results

More than 60 pickleball players from Ridgefield and surrounding CT towns, plus eastern NY, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and even Florida, participated in the tournament which featured a very high level of play. The winners in the top level are listed below:

Men’s Doubles: The team of Doug Southworth (Ridgefield) & Dennis Windolosk (Wilbraham, MA) defeated every other team in the 10 team round robin to win first place. In 2nd place were John Wu (Nanuet, NY) & Sergei Ivanov (Poughkeepsie, NY). In 3rd place were place were Harry Hughes (Ridgefield) & Jack Callanan (New Fairfield, CT). Paul Morris (Ridgefield) & John Sweeney (Danbury, CT) tied for 3rd, but, based on a tie breaker criterion officially, finished in fourth.

Women’s Doubles: First place, Christina Hare (Fairfield, CT) & Jan Wild (Briarcliff Manor, NY). 2nd place, Joy Soleiman (Ridgefield) & Jane Peters (Danbury, CT). 3rd place, Kim Becker (Bonita Springs, FL) & Eileen Moriarty (Wilton, CT)

Mixed Doubles: First place, Paul Morris (Ridgefield) & Jan Wild (Briarcliff Manor, NY). 2nd Place, Dee Diamond (Milford, CT) & Sean Diamond (Milford, CT). 3rd place, Jack Callanan (New Fairfield, CT) & Lucille Conklin (Mineola, NY)

Proceeds from the tournament go to the Exchange Club's Prevention of Child Abuse Center covering our area.
