
Fall in love with Ridgefield this weekend if you haven’t already. The annual fall festival kicked off Oct. 16 and continues into the weekend (Oct. 17-18):

- Nature Inspired Family Day at Aldrich Museum: 10 a.m.-noon (Recommended for ages 2 to 5), 1-3 p.m. (Recommended for ages 6-10)
- Chili Contest at Keller Williams: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Children’s Pumpkin Painting near the Toy Chest: Noon-2 p.m.
- Children’s Book Sale at Ridgefield Library: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Balloon Artist in Downtown Ridgefield: Noon-4 p.m.
- “Little Black Dress” featuring Annie Kelly & Billy Michael in front of Town Hall: Noon-5 p.m.
- Bracelet Making Workshop at Sphere, 421 Main Street behind Planet Pizza: 1-4 p.m.
- Free Needle-Felting Workshop: Noon-2 p.m. at nancy O.
- The Americans with Disabilities Act 25th Anniversary Proclamation presentation in front of Town Hall
- Pumpktober Festival at Lounsbury House: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
