Football Coach Charged with DUI Back at Ridgefield High

Kevin Callahan was charged with a DUI in his hometown of Fairfield.

Coach Kevin Callahan, who was charged with a DUI in his hometown of Fairfield last month has returned to the high school, the Ridgefield Press reports.

Callahan, 52, returned to work May 26, the paper repots. He was put on administrative leave pending a review by the school district.

He was charged with distracted driving, failure to drive right and failure to carry a valid insurance card.

Callahan serves as the head football coach, the dean of students and the head physical education teacher at Ridgefield High School.
