Believe it or not, today is ”Free Cone Day” at Carvel.
Between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., participating Carvel shoppes will treat guests to a free junior cone filled with their choice of freshly made vanilla, chocolate or the limited-time soft ice cream made with Ferrero’s Nutella hazelnut spread.
The Carvel in Ridgefield, located on 113 Danbury Road is a participating location, according to Carvel’s online shoppe locator.
“In addition to enjoying free soft ice cream, guests are encouraged to help raise money for the American Red Cross on Free Cone Day. Throughout the day, Carvel will offer a $2 coupon book worth more than $20 in savings. All proceeds from sales of the coupon books will go toward a $20,000 donation to support the organization’s disaster relief efforts,” Carvel said in a press release.
