Half-Marathon to Close Some Ridgefield Roads
The 43rd Annual Pamby Ridgefield Half-Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 22.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The 43rd running of the Pamby Ridgefield Half Marathon, along with an additional 7-mile race, will be Sunday, Sept. 22, from 5:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The races will close Governor Street between East Ridge Road and the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association at 27 Governor Street. The runners will also shut down East Ridge Road for 5 to 7 minutes while both races start, at 7:15 a.m. and 7:45 a.m.
The charity races kick off and conclude on East Ridge Road at the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield, which is also the beneficiary of the charity event. The club hopes to raise $10,000 for the day.
The 7-miler is sold out but you can still sign up for the half-miler at the race's website.
