RIDGEFIELD, CT -- The Shakespeare on the Green & Green Expo at The Ridgefield Playhouse will be held Sunday, July 22.

The Green Expo runs from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. and a family friendly version of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, produced and performed by Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, will take place live under the tent at 2 p.m.

The experts who will be participating in the Green Expo will explain how easy it can be to implement sustainability in workplace practices, in how we run our homes and how we can make everyday choices that are not only good for us but also for the environment. The expo will include food samples, food for purchase, product information and demonstrations.

The annual free event typically brings in more than 500 attendees each year and is meant as a “thank you” to the community.
