Huge Memorial Day Parade Set for Ridgefield
The annual Ridgefield Memorial Day Parade is sponsored by American Legion Post 78.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The town's annual Memorial Day parade will kick off Monday at 11:30 on Monday, May 27.
Two thousand marchers are expected to parade north down Main Street to Ballard Park. All that marching will begin shortly after a wreath-laying ceremony at the monument in front of Jesse Lee Church. The ceremony will include a military honors gun salute and the playing of taps.
A closing ceremony at Ballard Park will feature speeches and a program of patriotic music.
