Incredible Turn-out for The Prom Auditions at Ridgefield Theatre Barn

We had an amazing turn-out for The Prom auditions and are very grateful! We have some tough decisions to make, given the incredible talent pool we saw. Stay tuned for a cast announcement. We are going to have an amazing show!
Submissions for An Evening of One Acts have been incredibly strong, and we are going to need to cap them, so submit soon to be considered.
Our Evening of One Acts has been growing every year since its inception over a decade ago, but this year it has exceeded all expectations.
**Due to an overwhelming number of submissions, we will either close the submission window August 15th or when we have received 250 plays- whichever occurs first.**
We are thrilled by the response and cannot wait to start reading!
Plays should be roughly 10 minutes in length, though longer plays (no more than 15 minutes) will be considered, and micro-plays (1-2 minutes) are also encouraged. Those selected for presentation are usually comedic in nature, though deeper themes are welcome provided the overall tone is not too serious.
Submissions should be sent to oneacts@ridgefieldtheaterbarn.org with “OA 2024 Submission” in the subject line.
All submissions will receive a response. Playwrights whose plays are presented will receive a $50 honorarium.
