"I am thrilled that the Independent party chose me to be their candidate. I know that I have proven through my work on the Board of Selectmen and other Boards and Commissions that I work collaboratively with my peers on all of the issues that come before me. I fully embrace the value of transparency in government and will work hard to ensure that the residents of the 42nd district know what I am doing and how I am voting while in Hartford.

"I view the state representative position as public service and assure the residents of the district that I will take the time to understand each vote I take to ensure that it benefits Wilton, New Canaan and Ridgefield. I understand that we must all work together for a Connecticut where our children, seniors and businesses thrive."
