It Will Soon Cost You More To Park Illegally In Ridgefield
You'll be thinking a lot harder about parking too near that fire hydrant in Ridgefield, come November.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The current schedule of fines and fees has not been effective at deterring illegal parking in Ridgefield, so the town will be raising them, the Office of Emergency Management announced Thursday.
Motorists who block sidewalks, no parking zones or park within 10 feet of a fire hydrant will be subject to a $30 penalty. A blocked crosswalk will cost you $50.
Fees for parking over the line and overtime violations will remain at $15, with increases for late payment.
